Our Fall 2007 picnic was held the El Monte Airport on October 27.
This Group Photo of attendees will accompany former AACITer now-NASA astronaut Dr. Garrett Reisman aboard the Space Shuttle Orbiter Endeavour STS-123 and the International Space Station.

Now Available: AACIT Apparel!

AACIT T-shirts and Polo shirts are now available. Sizes small to extra-extra large. T-shirts are available in white, navy, and pink (Ben's favorite) and Polo Shirts are available in white, navy, and hunter green. T-shirts are $15 and Polo shirts are $39. All costs will be charged to your account. E-mail the treasurer for ordering information.

AACIT Bi-annual General Membership Meetings

AACIT holds at least two General Membership meetings annually. These meetings allow the AACIT Board of Directors to bring the membership up to date on the status of the fleet and the club, and it provides an opportunity for members to meet one another.

The Spring General Membership meeting is usually held in April we will have a featured guest speaker and elections for next years Board of Directors positions will also held at this meeting.

Reminders

• Make sure your Flight Proficiency form (including copies of AFR signature, BFR signature, and Medical certificate) is current and on file with the Flight Director. Check ScheduleMaster to confirm currency with AACIT. Non-current members will not have ScheduleMaster access.
• Make sure your proxy form is current and on file with the Secretary.
• On a similar note, club members without a current proxy or those who have changed address or phone numbers and haven't submitted a new member information sheet should fill one out and return it to the secretary. Copies of the forms are available from the Secretary.
  

  AACIT Monthly Board of Directors Meetings

  The AACIT Board of Directors meets monthly to discuss AACIT business. The meeting dates vary, but are typically during the third week of the month. All AACIT members are welcome to attend. For more information contact the Board of Directors (aacit-board[at]caltech.edu).

  AACIT Wash Days

  
  
  One of the reasons our planes always look so spiffy is that our members help keep them clean. All members are welcome at our monthly "wash days." They are held the second saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm at the El Monte Airport wash pit. Every member who participates receives a work-day credit of one-hour's equivalent time in a C-152. The work-day credit may be carried over for one month, but you must show up by 9:00 am to receive the credit. Contact the Maintenance Supervisor for further information.
